Charlevoix Municipal Airport

Charlevoix's city airport handles private and business aircraft and is the mainland base for on-demand flights to Beaver Island.

Charlevoix Municipal Airport is owned by the City of Charlevoix and serves private and business aircraft visiting Charlevoix; the Charlevoix Area Chamber notes a strong business and leisure jet presence. It has no scheduled airline service, and the city asks pilots to observe voluntary quiet hours overnight.

The airport is also the mainland end of the Beaver Island air link. Island Airways flies passengers and freight between Charlevoix and Welke Airport on Beaver Island, and Fresh Air Aviation runs an on-demand air taxi between Charlevoix and Beaver Island Airport. Neither carrier publishes fixed departure times; flights are booked on demand and depend on weather.
