Charlevoix Country Club
A public 18-hole Jerry Matthews course north of Charlevoix with water in play, heather surrounds and a demanding four-hole finish.
Charlevoix Country Club is off US-31 just north of Charlevoix and calls itself a championship public course. Jerry Matthews designed the 18 holes, which mix open and tree-lined stretches, with water in play on much of the layout and heather framing the holes. Visit Charlevoix singles out the last four holes as a tough finish.
The course is part of the A-Ga-Ming golf group, which also runs Antrim Dells and the Sundance and Torch courses on Torch Lake.
