Lincoln Hills Golf Club
A semi-private club on the Lake Michigan shore north of Ludington, established in 1921, with an 18-hole course routed through old dunes.
Lincoln Hills sits along North Lakeshore Drive on the Lake Michigan side of Ludington. The club was formally established in 1921 and opened first as a nine-hole course before growing to 18. Its history page traces the land back to the Stearns logging era and to years as a summer camp for the Michigan National Guard, and the course is routed over former artillery fields and Lake Michigan sand dunes. The signature hole is a par 5 with a split fairway cut through the dunes.
The club describes itself as semi-private, and the Ludington visitor bureau notes that the course is open to the public. Beyond the course there is a practice range, a putting and chipping area, an indoor golf simulator, tennis, and space for weddings and other events.
