The Lamplighter Bed and Breakfast

On East Ludington Avenue, five blocks from downtown Ludington

The Lamplighter occupies an 1894 Queen Anne Victorian on Ludington Avenue, according to the Ludington Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. It is one of the member inns of the Ludington Historic Bed and Breakfast Association, which groups several historic houses along the avenue near downtown.

The inn has five guest rooms, each with a private bath, named for artists and photographers such as Monet and Ansel Adams. Innkeepers Dan and Jen serve a two-course breakfast made with ingredients from local producers, and in warm weather guests can eat on the patio or deck.

Downtown shops, restaurants and breweries are about five blocks away, and the inn points guests to the Lake Michigan beaches nearby.
