Hemlock Golf Club

Hemlock Golf Club is on West Decker Road just outside Ludington. Michigan architect Raymond Hearn designed the 18-hole course, which opened in 2002. The routing crosses rolling ground, wetlands, forest and exposed sand, and instead of conventional bunkers the course uses sandy areas shaped to look like small natural dunes. Hearn’s firm describes it as a low-profile parkland layout fitted to the land, with some holes flat and others hillier.
Hole names such as Dune Beast, Mighty Oaks and Peninsula hint at the variety. The club has a driving range, leagues and lessons, and multiple sets of tees.
