Leland Fourth of July

Leland spreads the Fourth over two days: fireworks at Hancock Field Park around dusk on July 3, then an afternoon parade through downtown on the Fourth.

Leland’s Fourth comes in two parts. The fireworks are on the evening of July 3 at Hancock Field Park, and the parade follows on the afternoon of the Fourth, so you can catch both and still have the holiday itself for the beach.

The Leland Chamber of Commerce’s wine festival helps pay for the fireworks. Times can change from year to year, so check the chamber’s schedule.

What to expect

In 2026 the fireworks went up around dusk on July 3 at Hancock Field Park, and the parade ran through downtown Leland at 3 pm on July 4. Parade entrants signed up through a form on the Leland Chamber of Commerce website.
