Ludington Municipal Marina

Ludington's city marina on Pere Marquette Lake, a couple of blocks from Lake Michigan and close to downtown.

The Ludington Municipal Marina is on Pere Marquette Lake, about two blocks from Lake Michigan, on the west side of town near Loomis and William streets. The City of Ludington runs it together with the nearby Harbor View Marina, and the city describes it as close to the downtown business district.

The marina is a large one by shoreline standards, with both seasonal and transient slips and room for bigger boats along broadside docks. Grocery stores, shops and restaurants are within walking distance, according to the Ludington visitors bureau. Transient reservations go through the marina office by phone rather than the state reservation system.

Reservations

The city says reservations are made by calling the marina, starting April 15 each boating season. The Michigan DNR harbor map lists Ludington as handling reservations outside the state system.
