Grand Haven Municipal Marina
The city marina on the Grand River beside Chinook Pier, booked through the Michigan DNR harbor reservation system.
Grand Haven’s municipal marina sits on the Grand River at North Harbor Drive, next to Chinook Pier. The City of Grand Haven runs it, and the Michigan DNR’s harbor map lists it among the harbors booked through the state reservation system.
From the docks, boaters are close to the riverfront and Chinook Pier, and the Grand River connects the marina with Lake Michigan and Spring Lake. Most of its slips are set aside for transient boaters, which makes it a natural overnight stop for cruisers working along the shore.

Slips are booked through the Michigan DNR harbor reservation system, online at MiDNRReservations.com or through the state's reservation call center.
Transient slips
The Grand Haven visitors bureau lists most of the marina's slips as transient slips, with the rest set aside for charter fishing and commercial boats.
