Charlevoix City Marina

Charlevoix's 77-slip city marina at the foot of East Park, in the downtown harbor between Lake Charlevoix and Lake Michigan.

The Charlevoix City Marina lies in the town’s downtown harbor at the base of East Park, the waterfront park where summer concerts and festivals take place. The City of Charlevoix runs its 77 floating-dock slips, in the middle of downtown.

Because the harbor links Lake Charlevoix with Lake Michigan, the marina is a natural stop for boats heading inland toward Boyne City and East Jordan. Fuel and pump-out come from the boatyard next door rather than the city. The city warns that festivals and events limit summer availability, and it takes no reservations for the last four days of the Venetian Festival.

Slips, fuel and services

Reservations

Slips are reserved through the Michigan DNR reservation system (MiDNRReservations.com or 800-447-2757), opening six months before arrival. No reservations are taken during the final four days of the Venetian Festival.

Transient slips

Most of the marina's 77 slips are reservable for short stays, and some can be rented for 45-day periods in spring and fall. The city warns that summer availability can be very limited during downtown festivals and events.
