Muskegon Lakeshore Trail

About 12 paved miles along Muskegon Lake from Pere Marquette Park to the Muskegon Lake Nature Preserve, with views of the channel and South Pier light.

The Muskegon Lakeshore Trail is the easy way to see the city by bike: about 12 paved miles along the shore of Muskegon Lake, from Pere Marquette Park at the south end to the Muskegon Lake Nature Preserve at the north.

Along the way you get views of the lakes and the channel, the South Pier Lighthouse, sand dunes and city parks, and the trail doubles as a walking route to the city’s maritime and historic attractions, restaurants and seasonal festivals.

Park at Pere Marquette Park for the south end, at the Muskegon Lake Nature Preserve for the north end, or at Heritage Landing in between. Riders who want more miles can connect to the Laketon Trail toward the Musketawa Trail, or north to the Fred Meijer Berry Junction Trail.
