Michigan Irish Music Festival

A September weekend of Celtic music on six stages at Heritage Landing on Muskegon Lake, with Irish dance, food and a children's area.

The Michigan Irish Music Festival brings Celtic music to Heritage Landing on Muskegon Lake each September. The 2027 festival will be its 28th.

Six stages keep the music going across the weekend, with traditional dance, an Irish food kitchen, a pub and a market for Celtic goods in between. Families get the Wee Ones area. It is a volunteer-run festival, and a Thursday preview party has opened recent years before the full festival starts on Friday evening. Tickets are sold by day or for the whole festival, so check the official site for this year’s options.

What to expect

The festival lists six stages of live music, traditional dance and cultural programs, a Celtic Kitchen for Irish food, a pub, a market of Celtic goods and a Wee Ones area for children. It is held at Heritage Landing on the Muskegon Lake shoreline and run by volunteers. Ticket options and children's admission are set each year; check the festival site.
