Suttons Bay Marina
The Village of Suttons Bay's marina on Grand Traverse Bay, just east of downtown, with transient slips booked through Dockwa.
Suttons Bay’s marina sits on the west side of Grand Traverse Bay, just east of the village’s downtown and next to Marina Park and its public beach. The village runs it and books transient slips through Dockwa, so it does not appear in the state harbor reservation system.
The walk from the docks to Front Street’s shops and restaurants is short, which makes it an easy overnight stop on a Leelanau cruise. Facilities are changing: the village has a new restroom and boater building under way, so check the marina page for what is open during your visit.

Reservations
The village takes transient reservations through Dockwa rather than the state system, and asks boaters to include length, beam and draft. July stays are limited to transient rentals of up to two weeks.
Transient slips
Transient slips are offered under a village transient slip policy, alongside monthly rentals in May, June, August and September.
Services
The marina is just east of downtown, beside Marina Park, a public beach with picnic tables and grills. The village is building a new restroom and boater facility, with the comfort station planned for spring 2027.
