Ski area · Charlevoix & Petoskey
A family-owned ski hill near Harbor Springs with 53 runs on 248 acres, 427 feet of vertical, terrain parks and night skiing.
Nub’s Nob is a family-owned ski hill outside Harbor Springs, in operation since 1958, at 500 Nub’s Nob Road. It is a ski-first place that suits families and anyone who wants plenty of terrain: you come for the runs, not a resort village. Two lodges, the Main Lodge and Pintail Peak, have food and restrooms, and rentals and lessons are on site.
There is plenty to work through. The hill lists 53 runs on 248 acres, from 15 easiest runs to 9 for experts only, plus two terrain parks. The vertical is 427 feet and the longest run is 7/8 of a mile. Pintail Peak, with its own lodge, holds 12 of those runs.
Nearly all the terrain has snowmaking, and the hill runs night skiing on select evenings. Downhill and Nordic trail maps are on the resort’s site.
Run counts, lifts and night sessions change through the season. Check the conditions page before you go.
