Old Channel Trail Golf Course sits on North Old Channel Trail near the Lake Michigan shoreline, north of Montague. It is a public facility with 27 holes in three nines, each the work of a different architect: The Woods by Robert Bruce Harris (1927), The Meadow by Bruce Matthews (1966) and The Valley by Jerry Matthews (1994).
There is also a three-hole practice course, a full range and putting and chipping greens. A picnic area on a bluff above Lake Michigan is used for outings, ceremonies and receptions, and Pure Michigan notes short-term vacation memberships for visitors.
