F. Grant Moore Municipal Marina
Boyne City's municipal marina at the east end of Lake Charlevoix, beside Veterans Memorial Park and within walking distance of shops and restaurants.
The F. Grant Moore Municipal Marina sits at the far east end of Lake Charlevoix in Boyne City, surrounded by Veterans Memorial Park. The city runs it, and shopping, restaurants and other services are within walking distance of the docks.
It is a small marina, with 42 slips shared between seasonal and transient boats, and it was certified as a Michigan Clean Marina in 2008. It sits at the inland end of Lake Charlevoix, which connects to Lake Michigan at Charlevoix. The city’s marina pages do not list fuel or pump-out, so boaters should check with the marina office before counting on either.

Reservations
Advance reservations go through the State of Michigan central reservation system, up to six months ahead, online at MiDNRReservations.com or at 1-800-447-2757. The city notes that specific slip assignments are not guaranteed.
Transient slips
The marina's 42 slips are a mix of transient and seasonal, on floating and fixed docks. Seasonal slips are assigned from a waiting list.
Services
The city lists restrooms, showers, free Wi-Fi, a covered picnic area with gas grills, a courtesy vehicle, loaner bicycles and life vests, and an adjacent park and playground.
